They are not. Sports games don´t even get considered for a Game of the Year, altough Fifa 12 was one of the best games of 2011 it was almost no bugs the online was terrific and the physics where great. But it didn´t even got nomitad for a GOTY. Same goes for fighting games. Just because you don´t play them doesn´t mean they don´t deserve to be mentioned.
