Except there is. There always is.

The original Wii was only able to push out around 2.8 million back in the day at its launch but that was from Nov 25- december 31 |
This is (essentially) what I was thinking ...
I expect Nintendo will probably ship between 3 and 4 million consoles, and if they sold 4 million systems it would be an amazingly successful launch and they would still fall short of the PS3.
Why isn't the 360 included? anyways the ps3 should win, just.
If Nintendo could ship enough Wii U would easily theres huge demand in America.
That being said I dont think theyll ship enough.
360 will outsell both though

Is the Kinect still big enough to save it? Will halo 4 still be pushing it through the holidays? Other than that CoD is on the PS3 as well. From what I have seen there has not been any big kinect games in while other than the Critically disappointing Fable and Star Wars. like the Wii motion controll I think consumers have moved on to bigger and better things, including the Wii U. Am I wrong? Just what it looks like to me, but you would know better how the Kinect is doing. That has been a big reason for 360 success in the past is why I am asking. Not saying it is the only reason for its success. |
i wonder how that nike game will do, maybe we will see kinect in nike stores or something? that could sell some consoles to crazy nike fans.
and halo 4 will maybe sell 150-200k consoles, reach sold something like 150k in the first two weeks or so and now we have a special edition which many seem to be interested in even for that price.
€dit: sry for short derailment of your thread turkish.
360!
honestly I don't know but if Nintendo can keep up with supplies then WiiU will win

It depends on how many units will be available. But I think the Wii U will be sold out and the PS3 will win. But it's a matter of time (months) until Wii U becomes the most sucessful console in the world (nowadays).
We need moar Zelda, now!
We need moar Unchartedzz!
We need less DLCs.

Depends if the 7.6 million is correct or not by the analyst how was predicting Nintendo was going to reduce the shipments to that. The 2million units the Wii pushed out were because of supply constraints because coming off the Gamecube who would of thought the Wii would take off like that.
I believe the Wii U will be sold out through the holidays. So the only issue of Wii U vs PS3 is how many units get shipped.
On a side not WalMart is now taking "preorders" in their layaways at their physical locations. I just nabbed one this morning they started yesterday. It seems at most places they are only offering the Deluxe version. So $47 down gets you one.
