Other than in-game graphics, this game features some great animation.

And the new layton game proves 3DS can show non-pixelated animation nicely (they had their charm - you will be missed, old logo :(

Yeah, looking at these picture is apparent that these are just bullshots. The texture quality is way too high for a 3DS game. Had this of been announced for the PS360 or Wii U, I would have believed it. But even with that said, the textures still seem just a tiny bit too high even for a what the PS360 can do.

Edit: I take that back; this is firmly in the PS360 range.

Being fair, the game looks great. Just look at videos, it really looks fantastic for a PSP game.

Both the screens don't make the game justice, the bull one and that one you posted.

3ds is a surprise, was expecting wiiU and the series to move into a nintendo consoles because of it's childish focus.
