Recently there was a thread asking how many coins people had obtained on NSMB2. It got me thinking what an insane number of extra lives that would generate. So how many lives have you gathered thus far or even completed the game with, I am only on world 4, but have racked up 155 lives.

I'm at 1,050ish. The game gives you a star next to your profile when you reach 1,110, so I'm almost there!
