DS took less than 4 weeks
3DS took 12 weeks
PSP took about 14 weeks.

Pretty much this. Every handheld system beat that so easily right after launch or a hell of a lot faster than Vita. Still great that it finally reach that point, but if Sony actually tried they would've been at 1.5 or 2 million by now. I wonder how long DS,3DS, and PSP took to reach 2 million.
