Forums - Microsoft - Fable the journey - reviews so far from this exclusive xbox360

The Journey is a legitimately fun game that happens to be played with Kinect...when the hardware works properly. It simply won't at times, though, and while that shouldn't stop you from giving it a try, it is something you should prepare for.

Though it struggles with this repetitiveness at times, The Journey's wonderful vistas, heartwarming character and inventive use of the Kinect offer an experience that is blissfully pleasant, even soothing.
The whole thing is just so gosh darn British, too, which I imagine is less of a selling point if you are British. That pervasive sprinkling of refined, humorous nonsense makes The Journey feel a little more like one worth taking, even when some of its nuts and bolts are less appealing.
It's a cakewalk of a game that spends far too much time admiring its scenic sights from horseback. Now, if you're looking for a horse and carriage simulator that periodically makes you feel like you're drunk, run out and get it immediately.
Fable: The Journey is a game that should deliver magic, but instead, the spell fizzles.
The Journey wants so desperately to impress you, but it can only ever ruin your day.

Seeing your games collection.....maybe I should make a sales thread when PASBR and LLBP Karting release eh? :P. Hey why not throw in a review thread if either one happens to be below expectations, im betting on PASBR :)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

if you saw my games collection you saw fable 1 and fable 3 there  , did you saw me troll fable the journey ?

and those comments like the one you made up, can work with your youtube fans but not with me

Oh I think you did troll this game, in a way I am all too familiar with. Your subtle, very subtle :)

PC Fable or no, your no more qualified to post this thread then I am qualified making a Uncharted thread

Let's try to keep things on topic.  This thread isn't about PSABR or LBP Kart.

It's about fooooootbaaaaaaaaall!

Former something....

Can't really say I'm surprised the reviews for the game are poor, it looks on rails from what I saw and didn't do anything outstanding in its genre.

It's a good job 99% of the people posting in this thread don't own a 360 so wouldn't buy it anyway

Is this area of the forum just for 360 users ? that is new !!!

btw if you have nothing to say dont post

I had something to say so I said it.  How about you concentrate on massaging your friends ego's in this thread and stop trying to put words in peoples mouths.  I never stated people had no right not to post in here so please stop trying to imply such behaviour.  My point was clearly stating that a majority of people in this thread had no intention of ever buying this so what difference does it make.

Ouch, those are some pretty sad reviews...although I can't say I'm entirely shocked. Looks like this will be the first Fable I decide not to play.

A Sony fan starting a flame article - imagine. Why don't you do a review article for PS Vita FIFA 13? No - don't imagine you will. Or a Halo 4 either. Lmao.

Well without Halo and their zombie fanbase the 360 wouldn't have anything
Their exclusives can't even compare to the ones from other consoles....but well as long as they bring the yearly copy+paste Halo(and CoD) they will survive and destroy the gaming market.
This is a fact.

Hey Op - if you start a legitimate review thread aren't you supposed to keep it updated. Where are the 80 and 90 scores from Meta? I see you only posted the neg reviews.
