This combined with Gravity Rush winning at TGS really contradicts how badly the Vita is selling. It's obviously a great system with great games so why have you not jumped aboared?

Lacks mass appeal. In the games, in the pricepoint. It's perfect for the small audience it's currently suited to.

Expensive, sure. Everything else, never!
The PS Vita is much more a "handheld" than it is a "portable". Sure you can play it on the go but it isn't designed for bite sized gaming like smartphones. If it is a niche prodect then so are video games in general.
Handheld without Pokemon = no market
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

No back compatibility, i would ve bought one if so
instead i bought the PSP
It may sting for us to hear, but IPhone 5 is the biggest handheld gaming gadget of the year

I honestly don't see how it can be considered expensive. Smart phones prices are extortionate and the 3DS launched for the same price. You're right about it being a niche product though.

I was sure iPads were bigger than iPhones, even with iPhone 5's bigger screen :p
Positive publications like these will hopefully build traction for the Vita over Christmas. I've barely put mine down since getting it in March. Best system I've had in years.
