Where are the numbers showing how many people bought a PS3 as mainly or exclusively a Blu-ray player.

I would bet that, on average, Wiis get more gaming use than PS3s.

I am gonna buy a Wii so i can say "Dude, I got a Wii... Am I cool or What"

Or so I can say "I am gonna go play with my Wii" in front of ladies... and get away with it ; )

I have no intention of actually playing it.

Yes. Yes. Soon, they will learn that they should stop spending all their developmental resources making Wii games, and will finally put real effort, development time and marketing dollars into PS3/360 games.

 

Last I checked that's the opposite of what happened - resources were all dedicated to the PS3/360 and were being diverted to the Wii. Don't you think the 3rd parties want at least a chance to release the fruits of these labors (which largely won't hit market until late this year) before changing their minds AGAIN?

Sometimes, I just want to have a 10 minute conversation with these guys. The questions I would want to ask them is "Why do you think the Wii will fail? What evidence do you have that it is a fad? Why do you routinely give predictions that are well below the reality for the Wii? How do you keep your job when you miss obvious trends?"

You guys, this yankee guy is right to a point. most of you are nintendo fanboys, so you say there are a bunch of games to play. But, you also spout that this console is bought by a lot of casuals. Casuals honestly don't care much about the hardcore games you guys like. They are more for the mainstream games of the Wii, and give a rat's ass about the hardcore games you keep saying everyone will buy.

i will be ROFFLE when the ps3 outsells the Wii for a week worldwide. It will happen in the next 6 months, no matter how much crap is spewed out from your mouths.
