I can't blame Moore for EA's problems, at least not YET. The current crop of problems EA is having started BEFORE he took over the EA Sports division.

If anything, Moore will help EA fix their incredibly bad problems with their Sports division.

How can they not expect the titles to underpreform? The Wii has shown that it can't move traditional sports games very well, save Tiger Woods. And since the PS2 is dying, where are all these in-transition gamers going to buy their shoddy EAS games?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Only series I like from EA Sports is Madden NFL and FIFA. I was a huge fan of the NFL 2K series by Sega Sports which is now 2K Games.

I want to buy a basketball game for my Wii but NBA Live sucks now.

Nintendo still doomed?

Instead of making a game for every sport and league available they should concentrate on the more popular ones. Do we need all the college games and arena football come on. Also Nascar, really.

I'm actually tk1797 but I lost my account somehow.

I hate EA.. most overrated dev company... I like seeing Activision actually making some good games... I hope they don't become the next EA...

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

NHL 08 is so much better than 07, on PS2 at least, but NHL doesn't really matter since it's buy far the sport game that sells the least.

Their market has stagnated. The games are essentially the same every year with slightly improved graphics. If they really want to sell more, they are going to have to build games that appeal to new users without losing the existing audience. Selling to the same people over and over is a dead end.

Peter Moore? He does work for EA now, yes, but I don't think he is the president of EA Sports specifically.

It is remarkable how a person who screwed up the dreamcast and 360 (let's be honest, it made too much of a loss and only exists because of Microsofts unlimited amount of money. If it had the budget of the dreamcast it would have died ages ago.) goes to EA and suddendly they start doing poorly.

He was on the software side for the 360.  He's basically the guy that got Grand Theft Auto 4, Resident Evil 5,  EA Sports onto Xbox Live, etc.  He deserves credit for helping to make the 360's game lineup what it is.
