Nah, I don't think it needs any reboot... it's fine as it is. I really like the gameplay in Resident Evil 6, I've finished Leon's and Jake's campaign and really enjoyed them... specially Leon's :P. Now I just have to start with Chris so I can unlock the last campaign, can't wait for that :D. I also can't wait for the "gold" edition.

I'd say a remake of Resident Evil 2 on next gen consoles would be a way better idea than a reboot. Imagine what the graphics could be like on a next gen console with static cameras... they could push graphics to CGI level of quality that way, it would look so realistic :O and if they release that during the first year of next gen consoles, everyone will go crazy just because of how good it looks and it could sell a lot.

Resident Evil went downhill, and the only game that was fine this year was Revelations.

I wanna watch that video sooooo badly and I know Jeremy Jahns is good about avoiding spoilers but I must resist.  I've haven't even chosen which campaign I want to try, yet.

he doesn´t show any footage. He never does. And he doesn´t even tell what the campaigns are about. He only says how they play and if you need hel to decide, he can provide it.

The loud fans may be clamoring for it but lets not forget that the top two selling Resident Evil games were Re4 and Re5 and those were not focused on survival horror...
So the public at large actually prefer the direction the franchise has taken in these last 5 years...

I finally started playing.  I chose Chris Redfield's campaign.  Apparently, I chose the wrong one because it seems to suck so far.  It's just Gears of War with poor mechanics and a poor camera.  I guess I can watch the video.  Jeremy has only given me one spoiler since I started watching his vids and it seems that the story in RE6 isn't going to provide any shocking revelations, anyway.

just keep on going,that's what we all do and at some point they might give us a resident evil that starts of all hollywood and stuff but then eventually you end up in the woods finding a mansion with a lot of typewriters in it
