You sound like horder to me. I never used an exiler in any of the FF games I've played. |
I feel that using skills as consumable items somehow feels like being punished. I dont mind if my herbs are gone because I can always rebuy those. But skills I dunno.... this might have something to do with me hating games that base skills on playing cards like Phantasy Star Online Ep3 etc...
OFF-TOPIC "rant" starts here ;) :
I love Bowsers Inside Story but I hate this shit after you beat an enemy. I mean I want to be as good as possible why do I have to play some kind of mini game that can give me +1 instead of +5 for stats? I dont like this "your game experience depends on luck" shit.
This is punishment and work and I want the games to be fun. This is my personal opinion sure but instead of forcing all people to use something not everyone likes they should just make it optional or make it a second playthrough thing. I also hate this you have to repair stuff in some games. Why do I have to? This is work I dont want work in my games... Why dont they make all games like sims then? Just make my stupid cars need gas. Make me eat and drink or I will die make me find In game jobs so I have money to buy food so I dont die etc etc....even better and If I starve go ahead and erase my 50 hours safegame because ITS REALISTIC!!!
I also totally hate Bayonetta's "HOW DARE YOU CHECKED OUT THE LOVELY SCENERY THAT TOOK US MONTHS TO CREATE!!! YOU WASTED TIME YOU DID NOT RUSH THROUGH THE LEVEL!!! Grade F! Thats your punishment for ignoring our useless time limit now you will think twice before you chill and look at our adorable graphics ->INSERT BOWSER LAUGH HERE<-!"
Btw I also hate quick time events. All this uneccesary new shit that just kills the immersion and constantly reminds you you are just playing a game that fails at being a game because its work.

Mario in the "real" world? thats awesome!!! ;)
"The game breaks itself into levels and sub-levels (i.e. 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, etc.) much in the way a classic 2D Mario game would"
"puzzles"
"being forced to attack creatures in sequential order, losing the partner mechanic, and not being able to work with menu-based commands"
Well looks like Not-Paper-Mario confirmed. I see IGN is saying the other things make up for it, but if you took guns out of CoD, would martial arts combat be a suitable replacement?
When are we getting a main series Paper Mario?
I agree with Bazil. Mario is Missing is the worst. I don't even know what to do in that game. I used to own it along with Mario's Time Machine (which is also another awful game). I think both of those were developed by someone else or were ported from PC.
OT: I'm thinking about getting this game digital. Just for the pure fact of getting it earlier than anyone else. In my region, midnight releases on the eShop arrive one hour before midnight.

Lol, there will be spoilers, but I watched the first 5 minutes... amazing!
Lol at slow-mo Bowser and Kersti is so funny. And really, incredible art style, paper theme really being put to use
Ok, now the next wave of hate can start, go! :)
Complaining on Nintendo facebook is more effective than here, I really don't think Nintendo reads gamrconnect.

Soundtrack confirmed doesn't live up to the first two games. Remaning interest: zero.

Really? That's good to hear! Don't go back on your word now!
Seriously, makes no sense suffering for a game, choose another one and be happy. Even if I still think you should try it first open minded, but if you're really set, go on and play other game (s).

There are no other games I want. As of basically this game, I am done with console video games. I never did like Western videogames, and the way of making Japanese ones has shifted so much from the N64/GC era I grew up with (and the NES/SNES era I came to enjoy). There is no emphasis on making a hand-crafted, open world for me to explore, or a memorable soundtrack to any game.
The only game I plan on buying is SC2: HotS and that's not really a new game, it's just a lifetime extender for the progaming tournaments I watch.
I'm only still on VGC for the Vita/next-gen doom (because I want the game industry to crash and burn) and for ponies (because they have replaced games for entertainment and music creation purposes).
