It's really sad that Dead Space sells significantly less than this washed up franchise. And it's even more sad that EA/Visceral appear to be ruining their franchise and making it like RE 5 & 6 in an attempt to increase sales.

Yes, I agree that would be an ignorant association with just the information in that post you quoted. However, we can also see that it is the case that RE6 is more action orientated than survival horror. Which is awful news for people like me. I don't need another roid raged protagonist.

For comparisons sake RE5 recieved an 83 from 91 reviewers.

Just look at Revelations they still know how to do it if they want to stick to the newer RE games style.
The question is why dont they make use of that knowledge?

Well its partially the fault of the stupid gamers that want ACTION BOOM BOOM EXPLOSIONS etc.

Its our own fault that we allowed mainstreamers to have the same hobby and now they outnumber the real gamers...

So I guess this is one of the reasons why they make Resident Evil games that are for mainstream people. They outnumber us.

@Gentii I will only believe that if the game isn't full of roid raged men saying "lets fuck shit up YEAH!" while giving me an eerie feeling and raising the hairs on the back of my neck like RE1-3 (sorta 4) did.
