All I can say is that I don't care about reviews for any material I can buy. I believe that costumers are the ones who must make their own opinion based on previews, and trailers (gameplay trailers in case of games); and demonstrations. Reviews will always be biased whether they do it intentionally or not, because it will always be directed towards what the reviewer prefers. The only person who can determine if something can be enjoyable for you, is yourself and no one else.

Having said that; I am buying RE6 the moment the US PS Store gets updated today, because I enjoyed both demos, and every gameplay trailer I have seen. The game is not the standard 3rd person shooter. You need some time to get used to the gameplay mechanics, but once you get acquainted with them it is really enjoyable. Just because Capcom tried to do something different, it does not mean it sucks. It gets better the more you play it, and with a friend it is a blast.

Hopefully, people will give it some chance before they treat it like crap.

Again cutting part of a sentance out changes its meaning.

It reminds me of those bible preachers who like to say look what it says here in this scripture. But if you dont read the surrounding scriptures it means 2 very different things. But they just hope you  dont realsie.

Based on just this thread alone, I wouldn't keep my hopes up.  At least not from so-called 'informed' gamers.  People that play and enjoy this will be the more mainstream gamers that aren't looking to destroy everything.

the score just keeps dropping. Destructoid isnt even the lowest score anymore... though I don't even know who the fuck the lowest is. Never heard of em

Wooh my 17 year old nephew, who was really hyped for this game, just informed me that he was quite disappointed with this game. Now I'm worried.
