I think it's unlikely to be released in 2013, I think the possibility for the next XBox is higher. Sony will have an even harder time next Gen if they again let their competitor(s) release first though, so who knows.

Anyone wanting GTA5 already owns a console. It's too late for games to do anything substantial on the HDtwins. The Gen is over, people just don't know it .

However, I should preface, that Sony might even try and go longer than 2014.  Seems strange, and I'm not betting on that, but holiday 2014 isn't guaranteed either.  But it's definitely not coming before holiday 2014....that's for sure.

I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

I am sure many people here don't expect to see the PS4 before 2014 anyway.

Just to add, I too will go with the rumor that states we will see not see another xbox til 2014 either.

I still think it's coming 2013 and I believe Sony is just avoiding the Osborne effect. If you look at what the announcement of the Wii U did to Wii sales, you can see why Sony wouldn't want to announce the console too soon.

If Sony doesn't release 2013 and M$ does, I'm not even gonna know what to say. Will be yet another move by Sony that makes me think as much as I love them, it's like they're freaking retarded sometimes with the decisions they make. If they let M$ beat them to the market - AGAIN - then they really are retarded.

On a more positive note...I thought I heard something a while back stating M$ put the dev kits in developers hands early 2012 and were followed within a month or 2 by Sony. I hope this is true. Tretton said that E3 quote about "never first but best", and that worried me at the time. I just kept reassuring myself that there's no way Sony could be dumb enough to release after M$ again.

I don't necessarily like that....but I have to acknowledge the possibility.
