Capcom just has really talented devs. |
So does Square Enix and Nintendo. For whatever reason Capcom games are a whole generation above everything released on the 3DS. I mean, it's not like the difference between Uncharted and Uncharted 2, it's the difference between God of War 2 and God of War 3. There's so many features in the Pico card that's all fixed function, yet no one but Capcom is using them, not even Nintendo.

Revelations looked great on the 3ds. I hope other developers try to maximise the capabilities of it.
I also think Revelations nearly maxed out 3DS, which also was their goal. However they mentioned that it's -still- possible to geta bit better graphics if they keep working on the machine.
Sakurai also mentioned that Kid Icarus Uprising also maxed out the 3DS, even though it doesn't have the same level of textures, since you have to take into acccount the draw distance too. That's why they didn't implement dual analog control, because as far as he said, there were no resources left.

I think Kid Icarus looks great! Sure you can see some flaws in the graphics here and there, but overall it's fantastic.
Yes it does (I own the game too). I just mean it's not that "sharp" as Revelations, because it has to deal with a broader draw distance,as well as many enemies (or huge ones) on screen at once, which is why it also maxed out the 3DS, despite not having the same 'sharp' looks.

Mario 3D Land and Kid Icarus for me, so far.
With the notable mention of the monsters from Monster Hunter.
Well, I care more about content and less about visuals, and the cartridge size can be doubled to 8 gigabytes. Thus, as far as I care, a lot more can be done.
Still, I highly doubt that they managed to maximize visual performance this early on in the 3DS' life.

It's obvious developers could make better looking games especially a few years from now. My post is explaining why they would or wouldn't bother. In my opinion the Vita's success or failure is an important part of that so I explained what would happen to 3DS graphics in reference to how well the Vita does. No matter what 3DS graphics will get better but I tried to answer how much better.

Right? I don't know where the heck this talk is coming from.
Besides for the loading times in the elevators and stuff I haven't seen any evidence of this.
