No...technically Sony is for everyone. Theres mature games, sports, casual, platform and all under one brand. No other brand has been that comprehensive since Sega. Like it or not Mario is a casual platformer, Zelda and Metroid are the true standout titles when taking a step up, which is why they dont sell as much as Mario (outside of bundles). Nintendo is commercially more of a family friendly brand. Sony console are generally purchased by teen males to age 40 which means people upgraded to Sony. All Sony needs to do is get a commercial hit of a title and theres always next gen.

Sony has had 3 gens to get a commercial hit, they just aren't as good as you wish they were lol. Ninty covers all of those genres as well but whatever. Ninty's commercial hits are clearly for everyone, what's your point? Ninty's standout titles sell just as much as Sony's. Zelda Twilight has sold more than every franchise made by Sony accept Gran Turismo, so what makes Ninty only family friendly? Teens to 40 year olds, 40 year olds don't play Sony games, they are playing Wiisports with their family and Wiifit. When are you even going to show me a single ounce of proof of what you believe? I remember seeing surveys with the Wii leading the way with children and adults over 35. Why are their no PS3's in nursing homes? Ofcourse you ignored that. This time reply with some factual evidence, instead of your beliefs.

What are you talking about? Crash Bandicoot and Spyro were created under Sony. They were both commercial hits that could've been built upon but were sold to Activision. There are no PS3s in nursing homes because they are for gaming? Nintendo and Microsoft are have provided a their consoles as a target source of casual experience. Sony has the least casual experience on the PS3. The PS2 had it and so did the PSX.

"All Sony needs to do is get a commercial hit of a title and theres always next gen." You said that and I responded with they pretty much can't make one. Crash Bandicoot and Spyro weren't just sold for no reason as you are trying to imply lol. They crashed and burned because of Sony's horrible developers. There are no PS3's in nursing homes because they don't target adults at all. They target children and teenagers, by using violence. Sony has the least "casual support" because they failed to gather it, they tried and failed. PS2 and PS had it because of overwhelming 3rd party support which will never happen again so Sony will have a very hard time of actually winning a gen from here on out. I personally doubt we will ever see it as long as they are stuck on pleasing people like you.

Crash Bandicoot and Spyro were dominant Platformers in their era. They never tanked until Activision. As for pleasing people like me, what does this mean? I would love to hear your reasoning. PS3s target adults gamers, just not casuals. Put things into better perspective. Microsoft and Nintendo have found the answer to gaining ground with casuals that Sony hasnt figured out. Sony is too prideful and focused on providing experiences for gamers that it hurts them when branching out. Theres always next gen.

Aren't casuals  adults?

What is this hardcore gamer are you speaking of?

A middle age man that hates anything social or not Sony?

How is casuals not adults?

Wii-fit U was not aimed at 14 year olds. Do these hardcore gamers don't like anything colorful or made just for having fun?

Your argument sounds like anything not Sony isn't adult. This sounds very bias. Not very loyal free imo.

Mario/Zelda/Metroid are as hardcore as any game on ps3. You can't look in my eye and tell that crash/Spyro looked like a grown man game but many adults played it.

First and foremost, get off of the defensive.

-Its obvious the majority of buyers of these products are causals, and no casuals are more than just adults they are of every gender and age group.

- For the second question you will have be more specific.

-Never said that, but it is noted that the majority of Sonys console buyers are teen to middle aged males.

- Again..be specific.

- Wii Fit was marketed towards families but was majorly purchased by women. I am sure the majority of them are collecting dust as we speak.

- Your perception is what is keeping you on the defensive. if I said something out of place I appologize, but from this its giving me the feeling you're extremely defensive of Nintendo.

- Mario and Zelda are hardcore to hardcore Nintendo fans. To casuals they are easily accessible games.

They were dominant in their era and yet for some stupid reason Sony let it go. Wow sounds like what they did with MH on PSP lol. What a bright company. This is precisely why Ninty should do the opposite of what Sony does. As for "pleasing people like you", I'm saying Ninty shouldn't go after a total of 3 million vocal gamers. Supporting people like you is why they went from a dominant first to an embarassing third. Playstation may "target" adult gamers but it attracts children and teens. While adults laugh at them trying to put stories in video games. Why would an adult spend hours playing a video game when they have full time jobs lol? They have more important things to worry about than over the top violent video games that wants to appeal to adults by adding horrible, and unrealistic stories to them. Are you telling me children don't love violent videogames and would rather play fitness games. Lol at Sony is too prideful, you will believe anything won't you, if they were so prideful then why did they make Eyepet, Sports Champion, and wonderbook. They try to appeal to them, they just make horrible videogames that casual gamers aren't dumb enough to buy.

This is the most horribly biased response Ive ever read. You have a lot of hate in your heart for Sony. Tell me....how hard did they beat you as a child?

Fail in some many ways its not even funny lol.

1. How is it obvious lol, you must see every single person buying it them and even know their buying habits. I guess you should teach Sony how to appeal to them so they can actually have a decent selling game.

2. Where is it noted that majority of Sony's buyers are teens to middle aged men? Something you completely made up lol. More like children to teenage boys, and a couple of late 20 year old men.

3. Wii fit collecting dust is just your opinion and have you noticed two Wii fits have been released and both sold more than anything Sony could create lol. Doesn't matter if their collecting dust if the millions of people are willing to purchase the sequels. It burns you up doesn't to see Ninty sell more games to moms than Sony can to hardcore gamers lol. Clearly even hardcore gamers know majority of Sony's games are horrible.

4. Now you are flat out contradicting yourself lol, you said previously Zelda isn't casual that's why it doesn't sell as well as Mario and now you are saying casuals do play Zelda because they find it accessible. Make up your mind.

As bad as the 3DS is beating the Vita. ;)

Anyways, I'll try to get back on topic. Ninty should not copy a company that can't even make a decent selling game. Point, blank, period.

Yes...they have no decent selling games. Ill wait for your blood vessel to come down now. Until they have real casual bundled sales levels they are not a factor. :)

Wii Fit wasn't bundled, try again. Atleast you agree with Sony not having any decent selling games though. Instead of bundling those duds they create, they should bundle games people actually give a crap about like Fifa. Which is precisely what their doing if you haven't noticed. How many 3rd party games has Ninty bundled with their platforms? The reason for that is because people actually give a damn about Ninty games lol.
