Well they've already made 3d updates of Kid icarus, kirby, Star fox, and Zelda so why not make HD versions. It would probably cost just as much as the 3d remakes.


are you talking about Kid icarus uprising as a remake of the NES game in the same line of logic that the Star fox and Zelda 64 games are remakes of the games they're based on?

No Uprising is a sequel not a remake. I'm talking about the 3d update of the original thats in 3d with reworked backgrounds and sprites thats on the eshop right now. It's like 8 bucks.

I know it well, just wasn't sure when you mentioned star fox and zeldas remake too I think the biggest 3d classics game that people think of would be excitebikes classic but you didn't mention that so made me think you were talking about uprising. I'm sure you're right btw those 3d classic games probably didn't cost a whole lot to do given how simple the games are to begin with, but the star fox remake is a fairly hefty amount of really nice 3d models that were all redone for it and some of the areas in zelda64s remake were completely redone, the temple of time is a shining example of what a HD update should be bringing to the table.
