Why are you reading your phone.... Android has had voice turn by turn for years and you can very easily switch to different routes. Furthermore, that feature isn't available to a great number of countries where as Google Maps and Navigation is pretty much everywhere now. You can also just hit the mic button and say "navigate to..." or "where is....". Android does it the same and arguably better.

Airplay is nice... if you also own only other Apple products. However, you can do the same thing if you own Google products. Really not a difference at all. I watch my Android store stuff on TV or through home stereo all the time. Aside from Google/Android directly you have a bigger difference with DLNA. Apple forces Apple, Android embraces open standards. I can turn on my PS3 and see my phone's content. I can turn on my GoogleTV device and see my phones content. I can get a newer TV with DLNA and see my phone's content. Really Airplay is actually more of a hinderence unless you live 100% within Apples walls. I prefer choice.

Fully agree with your final paragraph. I want to see true innovation war. It only makes it better for everyone, regardless of their flavor of kool-aid.

Previous to JB, Android's voice operation was so awful that I couldn't use it. I tried for two months to put the voice operation app right on my home screen but I just couldn't get it to work and shuffled it back into a back page. I'd forget the call phrases, the phone wouldn't understand me, just a mess. Basically useless. When I said "on the fly", that wasn't the best terminology... I meant that Apple nows offers on-route searching. A useful feature for me because I rarely know where the hell I'm going (the curse of living in three major cities over the course of five years). Being able to find stuff on-route is nice (and a feature that I expect Google to follow with in short order).

Overall, I just hope the Maps app isn't a complete disaster. Apple has A LOT of catching up to do with Google and they better be dedicating massive resources to bring it on par with Google Maps.

AirPlay does kind of suck because it's closed (well, at least video is... Apple licenses the audio portion of it). I think we can both agree that it would be for the best if Apple started licensing the standard. It's really the best thing going in wireless video sharing (I haven't been terribly impressed with Google's offerings thus far but my experience is limited). It would be nice if everybody could play along and use the service, not just Apple products (which I own a veritable shit-ton of so it's not such a concern for me).
