Tbh, it was a counter against the title.

And looking at the details of God Eater 2, the Vita version will also have (EDITS)better-controls(EDIT). If there was a bundle, then THAT would increase sales nicely.
| Ajescent said: What's the point of releasing it on Vita when it being on PSP automatically makes it playable on Vita...? (assuming it's downloadable) |
Better graphics or content exclusive to Vita perhaps.

Does it mean the PSP game is just playable on the Vita via PSN with better visuals or are they separate games like Monster Hunter P3 and MHP3 HD?

One piece would be big! *crosses fingers*
A weeks exclusivity to Vita for all dual vita/psp releases would be ideal though.

Right now, any spike is a good one.

Players will be able to transfer save data between the two versions of the game, and both PSP and Vita versions will be cross-compatible for multiplayer.
God Eater 2 will be released in 2013. Famitsu also say that the game will feature gorgeous visuals on Vita. http://www.siliconera.com/2012/09/18/god-eater-2-announced-for-psp-and-vita-simultaneous-release/ |
At bolded, this tells me that there will be a PSP and a PSV version? Soooo...PSV version = better graphics and trophies? awesome!
Also, someone asked if God Eater was released in the west, yes it was, it was released as Gods Eater Burst which included the original game and the expansion thingy. and...IT... WAS.. AWESOME!
But, isn't God eater suppose to be releasing for the 3Ds too?
Not a megaton at all, but it is a good thing to have more titles available for the handheld :)

Sony really needs to kill off the PSP, it's leeching off it's younger sibling in Japan. People will just buy the game for PSP, reducing the potential boost Vita could have received.
That's great news for Vita! There's a panel about the "future of God eater" later at tgs, so maybe there's new surprises awaiting who likes the game.
The only bad thing about this news is the delay for the game, the game (and vita) would totally gain from a holiday release.
