I hope you're kidding about that. :P
| man-bear-pig said: Very outdated image. E.g. When they say that the DS is the highest selling handheld of all time and have the iPhone at 41million. Well, the iPhone has now sold over 300 million E.g. When they say that Nintendo is worth more than Nike Etc. etc. It's still a pleasant image though. I never knew Miyamoto created all those franchises! :o |
That's totally redicks. You can't combine every Iphone ever created and pit it against the DS in sales numbers. I could see grouping the 4 and the 4s together because they are both part of the Iphone 4 line but not a numbered sequal. Do we combine PS1,2 and 3 numbers together?
Why would you even compare iPhone sales with a dedicated gaming device anyway there completely different products?!!

Another Fun fact : Nintendo actually played a major role in helping developing the PS1.
Knew all those back in '09, but the porn games eluded me for unknown reasons...
Yes, needs to be updated.
Judging by the fact that Sonic games came out before Halo was even created, it shouldn't be a surprise that Sonic is bigger than Master Chief. ;)

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

You can say that.. or you can say that nintendo hired sony to help em make a cd consol.. and sony then skrewed them and made it a sony consol insted..
And iphone combined may had sold more than first ds.. but so has portable computers.. and you can play a lot of games on them.. still it's not a portable gaming consol..

I thought Nintendo and Sony were working together, and then Sony proposed using CD discs for the games but Nintendo didn't want to take the risk so Sony made the PS1 apart from Nintendo because they wouldn't work with them.
