Ugh. That interview just increases my distaste for Reggie. Seriously. Replace that man. I get that he's doing PR and he can't be open, but at least come up with something better than bullshit.

I understand both sides. I know that on one end, Nintendo did have some good first party offerings over a two year period. But on thee other hand, the problem was that those were basically all the, "high profile" games to come to Wii and those are barely if qualified at all to be called, "high profile" titles.

I do believe WiiU will be different in the fact that there is obviously more longevity in the console. Even if it does not have the theoretical power of the next Sony and Microsoft offerings, it will have enough to keep it from being made completely overlooked like Wii was. I believe the gap between WiiU and the next consoles from rivals, even if big, will not be enough to have Nintendo ignored and in the cold like thee end of this generation has put on display.

Why does he ask Reggie about the next 5 years and then says himself that nobody can predict what happens? Yeah, its a lot of PR talk but at least he doesn't insult the competition so I don't see anything to complain about aside from the wasted bandwith. But the fact that Wii games don't work on the Controller sucks big time. I wanted to finish Xenoblade on the UPad. This has to be fixed.

I guess it depends on what kind of games you like and how much time you spend playing them. I don't have a tremendous amount of free time for console gaming, so I never felt like there was a 'shortage' of Wii games for me to play.

@spurgeonryan That's called your own personal opinion. That's why he was keeping it real, he kept reminding that guy he wasn't just gonna let that guy state his opinion as a fact. That's what HD gamers try to get away with all the time. You are doing it right here, in my opinion the 360 or PS3 hasn't had a decent game release in a while for them, but that's because I don't care for most of their library. In his eyes, since it is his product that has been copied by them lol, they have been supporting they're userbase, whether you like it or not is irrelevant.

It is not "generally accepted". The rumors about XBox8 and PS4 point to some more power, but the difference in power seems to be not very significant, more PS2 to gamecube than Wii to PS3.

Good read. Reggie is totally killing that interviewer with his answers. The interviewer is clearly biased and Reggie gives direct answers that just show how moronic the questions are.

I start to like Reggie. No bullshit answers but in a very nice way.
