I understand both sides. I know that on one end, Nintendo did have some good first party offerings over a two year period. But on thee other hand, the problem was that those were basically all the, "high profile" games to come to Wii and those are barely if qualified at all to be called, "high profile" titles.

I do believe WiiU will be different in the fact that there is obviously more longevity in the console. Even if it does not have the theoretical power of the next Sony and Microsoft offerings, it will have enough to keep it from being made completely overlooked like Wii was. I believe the gap between WiiU and the next consoles from rivals, even if big, will not be enough to have Nintendo ignored and in the cold like thee end of this generation has put on display.
