Nah, I don't think many people would know what they made unless they gamed in the early to mid 90's, especially on the PS1.

Since about 2000, all Studio Liverpool have made is Formula One games & WipEout.  Before that, they were a bit more diverse.  

I still love them though.  WipEout is all I need.

They retained much of the staff, so I think it's a no-brainer that WipEout is still going to be made, possibly with the same leads, probably with the same resources.

WipEout developer Sony Liverpool was confirmed as closed by Sony last month, but the studio’s official Twitter feed has posted a cryptic message a piece of WipEout art. Check it out below

 

UPDATE: We just heard back from a Sony rep about the below tweet and art, and received a ‘no comment’ line. So the jury is still out on Studio Liverpool being saved or not.

 

Ok, so, why would a Sony rep be all 'no comment' over a studio they publicly shut down weeks ago being alive or not? Something is going on. Keep hope alive.
