both colors looked sexy when I saw it in person. both are piano finished and looked slick and, again, sexy. I haven't scene the Wii U console vertically so it's to be decided for me.

But if I got one, I would go for the more memory. So I might just wait until I can get it in white.

I am over forty and having all the black stereo and gaming equipment - they get a bit hard to distinguish what is what without turning on an extra light.

Black and horizontal, I've cleared a space on my desk next to my USB hard drive for my Wii U to go into. I actually measured out the space with a tape measure comparing it to the dimensions in the system spec! How sad.

I think both colors look great but I prefer the black, particularly for the gamepad as I like having a black bezel around the screen.

I definitely like the horizontal position for WiiU as the logo/lettering accommodates it; same way I liked the vertical position instead for the original Wii.

Want the black but only really want to pay the amount of the white console.


I am not planning on picking it up until December, so I am hoping they eventually release a basic package in Black but if not and money isn't too tight, I will go ahead and get the $350 and cry over not being able to pick up any actual Wii U games for it for a few weeks.

But it will be so cool using that GamePad with Netflix and stuff.

Remember that you'll need your Wii to transfer your WiiWare/Virtual Console games (if you have any) to WiiU.

OT: When I get one, it'll probably be the white one, and I'll probably have it horizontal.

But I always wanted some rad color for a home console like orange or yellow. I like when my gaming devices are not those serious colored devices that try to blend with TV's and such.
