Forums - Nintendo - Additional 3rd Party Characters for Brawl = Mistake

Since FFXII:RW was on the DS I could see Vaan, Ashe, or Balthier being in the game.

Bomberman, Megaman, and Simon Belmont. Those are my votes.

I second those and in that order too.

Bomberman would have to have all sorts of bomb attacks, tossed (small explosion), dropped ((and kickable?) large explosion), Virus, speed burst (like fox), etc.  FS: Everyone freezes and he speeds up and drops bombs like crazy.

the bionic commando guy would be nice, megaman is ok.
Street fighter guys don't fit, simon belmont is cool, sora mmm 50/50.
The Cloud idea is cool, another character from the sonic series is possible.

Even if the game is released in japan first, I am pretty sure we will get some NA exclusives in the game

I don't think any region will be getting any exclusives, I mean its already been said we can play against people in Japan over wi-fi for one thing, and also neither the original ssb or melee had any exlcusives so why are you "pretty sure?"

Nobody here has mentioned Viewtiful Joe yet... He seems as likely of a Capcom participant as Megaman (both are good fits for the style of play), and Joe might even have the edge over the Blue Robot because he has always been a Nintendo exclusive.  A cool and fitting final smash for him would be making time slow down (everyone else can only move in slow mo) and his attacks would be stronger too.

EDIT: scratch that exclusivity.  Viewtiful Joe just came out on the GC first, but was ported to PS2 eventually.

@Polezo: Viewtiful Joe is not Nintendo-exclusive. There are PS2 and PSP games.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Sonic isn't Nintendo-exclusive either.

I guess i'm more okay with Snake because he originated on a Nintendo system.... But including Sora kinda opens the realm to Disney characters, and they CERTAINLY don't belong in Brawl

Well Disney recently opened a Wii development Studio so you gonna see plenty of Disney characters on Wii soon :)

 Jaffar would kick butt.

I have an N-Gage... and still play it.

I'm fine with Snake because his seriously funny nature is perfect for Smash Bros...it'll be great to have a more realistic fighter in the game, simply because his contrast with the more fantastical characters makes him hilarious. Having more than one of those kinds of characters, like a Master Chief, would be overkill though.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

earthworm jim.

^that would be awesome--you could wipe him to get back to the level
