Forums - Nintendo - Is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance coming to the WiiU?

I´d say it´s easier for this game to be ported to the Wii U than the main entries.

Maybe KHIII... holy shit can you imagine the meltdown that would cause?!?

Oh I can imagine it all right.  I can just imagine it.  And that is really likely too.  I'd love to see KH III on WiiU.  Ditto with FF XV (albeit as multiplatform than exclusive).

OT:  If REVENGEANCE does well on WiiU, I would like to see an HD collection and Ground Zeroes, too, although Platinum isn't responsible for that one, and MGS:R is the only one they currently did, right?

Depends on Sony because they own Kojima, so its not very likely.

If it was up to Sony im Sure there would'nt even a an Xbox360 version.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

It's a possibility, but I doubt it. There's just not much time until it is released. You'd think it would be announced by now.

That isnt evidence, since it all depends on Konami, its in their court and no else. its possible. Maybe not now, it could get a later port, hell I can even see GZ being on it as well

In the end it's Konami's call, but I think due to the way that Nintendo's being more aggressive in its handling of WiiU in terms of third party support (the Bayonetta 2 announcement, for instance), that there isn't any reason we won't get either of these two titles ported.

this is kojima we are talking about, so no!

Menx64

Well, Kojima didn't exactly say no to WiiU development. He's interested in it. Last I heard, he said that he wats to create original software for it, not ports. Whatever that means, of course, depends on what happens. But somehow I have a feeling he won't pass up WiiU this time.

Konami is the only major publisher in Japan that hasn't shown any support for Wii U yet. So it could be like Activision where they were just holding all the news for a separate date, or they currently don't intend to support the Wii U.

I'm willing to believe the former than the latter.  After all, I thought they were developing PES for WiiU.  And they didn't exactly say "we're never going to support WiiU", either.  FWIU, they're genuinely interested, they just don't have anything ready yet... or at least we won't know for sure until the coming weeks say otherwise.
