.
Millions sold first day confirmed.
All they need to do is advertise that fact and GET THE STOCK OUT!
This is a great move for Nintendo. If they can capture a big or even medium part of SE's fans, they can secure FF for the Wii U. At minimum a decent port.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.
Sony and especially Microsoft just shouldn't even bother releasing the PS4 and neXtBOX in Japan now.

Millions? The game itself has sold around 600k so far on the Wii. |
Yeah, but free Dragon Quest? And you saw what it did to the Wii's sales.
Let's say the system would have sold WW about a million anyway. This info adds another 1-200k on top of that. And MH as well means that it's first week may sell more than the entirity of the Vita's YTD in its first month.

It was ofcourse a highly exaggerated and almost sarcastic post. But with a core of truth. Things like this are setting up Nintendomination in Japan.

Free? It's the beta and you have to purchase a console (the more expensive one) to play. Oh, you were talking about WW sales. I don't see how this is relevant to the Vita though, but oh well. |
Well, you can believe what you want. Never underestimate the power of Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter in Japan.

Well, tbh, Dragon Quest X and Monster Hunter 3U aren't going to sell millions in Japan (since DQX is an MMO and Monster Hunter is more popular on handhelds)
I expect 600K-1 million lifetime for each game.
But regardless, they will sell some Wii Us
