I called my gamestop minutes after the price was announced, was told probably tomorrow
Within 30 minutes They called me back and said their district manager
had given the green light, within 20 minutes from that call I was down there
I was very early at that store 3rd or 4th, after some employees, but was told all stores were calling people on their waiting list (they took numbers) and over a hundred had been pre-ordered in their area (there are about 3-5 stores within 20 minutes from each other) this is selling very quickly. Glad I will walk in and pick up mine, probably a midnight launch.

Oh man, I am soooo gonna make double my money back when I sell my extra one in December.  

A lot of people with money who don't follow games and wait until the last minute won't be able to find them anywhere, and have too much money to care about spending extra to make little Jimmy's Xmas morning happy.

I remember Wiis going for well over $1000 on ebay in 2006, and PS3s for up to $2000.
