No you and they are wrong.

The actual box and the actual intro says published by microsoft.

Ninja Gaiden II is the sequel to the original video game Ninja Gaiden and was released worldwide for the Microsoft Xbox 360 in June of 2008. The developer was Team Ninja and it was published by Microsoft Game Studios; this signaled the first time a Team Ninja made game was not published by the publisher Tecmo.

lol, what does it say on the sidebar to the right?  Published by Tecmo.

Check the box.   Says Tecmo on it, not Microsft Games Studios as it does for titles they publish.

No it doesnt. NG3 360 has Tecmo on it.

NG2 has no Tecmo anywhere on the box for 360. Its in my hands right now. Open up the box and printed right on the disc itself is Published by Microsoft Game Studios.

Wait, on the back of the box it says published by Microsoft Game Studios.

But yeah, I'm sure that a website has not made an error and the error is on the REAL box and disc itself.

I'm staring at the PAL game disc and box right now.   I see Microsoft.  What I don't see is Microsoft Games Studio.

Even the UK Microsoft site lists the publisher as Tecmo.

But it looks like MS published the game in the UK.  Tecmo handled it everywhere else (well, Poland had another company do the publishing there too).

Even if what you say is true. And it is only published by Microsoft in UK. Sigma 2 on PS3 exists in the UK.

However it doesnt make any logical sense as to why Sigma 2 had to ave the same changes everywhere and not just in UK.

Dismemberment was removed as was gore foe legal reasons as opposed to the press release for what Team Ninja said. Also levels were changed due to legal issues. But Sigma 2 does exist thanks to changing the name and aesthetics.

The difference here is that Nintendo will be the global publisher, distributor as well as funder, for Bayonetta 2.  MGS was merely the UK publisher and global distributor for NG II.  That means MGS didn't have much of a say in the overall development of that specific IP.   Nintendo will have far more say regarding Bayonetta 2.

This is kinda like how Nintendo is publishing NG III for Wii U.   Nintendo has no saw in the property overall now that it's the publisher.   If they wanted to make a NG III Sigma or whatever for the other platforms, they very likely could.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Platinum becomes Nintendo exclusive from here on out (much like HAL Labs, which eventually gave Nintendo it's current president, Mr. Iwata, ironically enough). Maybe with the opt out to do Metal Gear spin-offs with Konami.

There won't be much of a market on PS4/720 for content like Bayonetta anyway. The budget would have to be raised to compete against things like God Of War PS4, and that would bankrupt a studio like Platinum.

You know, I'm just happy that I'll get to play it, I'm going to buy a Wii U at launch anyways. First games will be Nintendoland and Ninja Gaiden 3(which looks a fuck lot better than the other versions and I'm happy about that,) rest are coming via Newegg and that's that lol, the internet rage makes no sense at all.

That sounds like a LOGICAL PLAN!!!!

It's not uncommon for first parties to publish games in certain markets. Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony have all done this. It's not the same thing as having a project effectively resurrected and funded by one of those first parties.

One need only look at another title Nintendo funded and published, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes. It remains the only Metal Gear game of the fifth generation to not be ported. One would think that if Konami could, it would gladly have included the Gamecube game in the Metal Gear Solid HD collection alongside the PS2 games.

Another great example is Mass Effect. Funded and published by Microsoft, owned by BioWare, it remains exclusive to 360 and PC. Microsoft, again, funded this project and published it in full. For all intents and purposes it is never going anywhere.

Neither will Bayonetta 2.

I love the Bump.
At the end, was a Wii U exclusive...

Or you could... you know... BUY A FUCKING WII U??
