No to what you say... here is why
Nintendo published Resident Evil Remake and Resident Evil Zero on Gamecube. The Resident Evil license clearly belongs to Capcom, but none of the Resident Evil HD remakes which went to either PS3 or X360 include these or anything remotely close to these.
Nintendo published Metal Gear Solid - Twin Snakes on Gamecube. The Metal Gear license clearly belongs to Konami, but none of the Metal Gear Solid HD remakes which went to PS-Vita, PS3, or X360 include that.
Now... to bring to some kind of sensible state - I am a gamer and care about games, not platforms
The original Metal Gear game was first released on the NES. Konami migrated the series to the PSOne because the new their vision of the game worked better on the new console which was using optical media instead of cartridges which would have been expensive for so much dialog/cutscenes.
Platinum Games is migrating their game to Nintendo platform simply because they wanted to continue the series and Nintendo was the first that was willing to work with them as publisher to fund what they wanted to do. Was either Sony or Microsoft interested? Why Nintendo became the publisher and not someone else? There might be some interesting details there... but in the end, all that really matters is that the game will have a sequel.
Nintendo has taken the financial risk and if it works out, than Bayonetta might continue as a series. Otherwise it was done.
