There's no future for Platinum on PS4/720 anyway.
They're not a big studio and no one's going to finance a huge budget project from them. Vanquish bombed and Bayonetta did OK, but not enough for any of the big Western publishers to pick them up.
Platinum was lucky to find a big sugar daddy like Nintendo (lol) to help them out.
On Nintendo platforms their games will get a lot of attention too. Bayonetta probably got more attention because of the Nintendo press event than its ever had (became a global trending topic on Twitter, has had articles written about it on Forbes.com, etc. etc.).
On the PS3/360, things like Vanquish just get lost in the mix, there's so much core gamer oriented fare there that people really only pay attention to the Assassins Creeds, Call of Dutys, Skyrims, etc.
