Does Nintendo own any of their franchises?? or is it still a partnership with Namco Bandai? Like "Project X Zone"... exclusive 3DS title but published by Namco.

Nintendo owns all new IPs made after 2007 and all previous IPS owned by Monolith... after all Monolith is Nintendo.

I'm hoping its a new Baten Kaitos.

What do the rest of you think?

Engadget is reporting Iwata said it was a "new IP" during the Japanese Nintendo Direct.  I would be hoping more for something open-world like Xenoblade than another Baten Kaitos.

What can we expect from Nintendo at TGS... nothing?

Seriously I dont hope its baten kaitos I hope its xenoblade 2 because that was the best rpg I played in like 15 years.

And Baten Kaitos has cards I hate everything that in some way uses cards even its just for display of skills etc.

Yugioh, Pokemon Trading card, Phantasy Star Online 3 etc etc    I hate cards....

I felt the same way till I played BK Origins, which is one of my top favorite games. BK's card system is NOTHING like Yugioh or whatever. Origins also has one of the best turn based battle systems ever too.

The Wii U game isn't BK3 though. It's being helmed by Takahashi who didn't make Baten Kaitos as well as the Xenonlade team. Honne, the creator, is at the Kyoto studio which is making a 3DS game. It's unlikely that the Wii U game is Xenoblade 2 though.

Well still I cant stand anything card related     and turn based is also something I dont really like     but i can live with turn based when the rest of the game is uber awesome like DQ8/9. I wouldn't cry at all  if turn based would die out :) (archaic game element from back when Ai couldnt handle more than 1 thing at the same time)

Thank god turn based morphes into "pseude"realtime in newer games.
