Forums - Nintendo - So the game pad works like a charm! I am so hyped right now!

I must admit it looks damn sexy

Negative comments are ridiculous, specially since arent true
the Gamepad is light and comfortable, as everyone reported from past events, and comparing it to an iPad (with no buttons) is just showing their strong bias.

Playing a fps on that thing may prove to be a worthy experience!

Edit: wrong thread

Does the GamePad run Call of Duty at 60fps?

Yeah true so if the games runs at 60fps the GamePad should as well

Honestly, I'm still not convinced it would be great for long gaming sessions. The A and B buttons look like they require a long motion with a lot of wrist bend and a grip shift that takes you even further from the center of gravity. It's definitely improved from the original design, which was really bad, but I'm just not sure that someone with any wrist problems would enjoy that controller in the long run. Also, using the touch screen on the fly doesn't seem to be much of an option, as you'll probably have to rest the controller on your lap to do it.

I'm just not sure. I will have to test drive that controller before I bought it.

yes it did (but the screen is smaller and thus only requires lower resolution to look HD)

That's a nice relief, good to know.
