Yes, Apple is always behind in widgety tech.
But do customers actually need those missing features? NFC isn't used anywhere, wireless charging isn'tconvenient yet. Any photographer "worth their salt" would use a DSLR. Otherwise the iPhone and all recent smartphone cameras are great for normal use. About the only thing I agree with is that battery life could be a lot better.
The PPI is the same, article is wrong.
Smaller display is a matter of taste. Bigger =/= better and if you want a 4.8" screen you don't buy Apple.
Yes Apple is being conservative and could do more. But they'll sell 5-10 million of these and it's working for them. Meanwhile, this phone won't single handedly save Nokia from junk credit status even if it's a technical miracle, because Windows Phone is holding it back. (WP8 does not actually exist yet, the SDK isn't even out).
The Lumia doesn't have a firm release date, iPhone is here next week as well.
