Yes, Apple is always behind in widgety tech.

But do customers actually need those missing features? NFC isn't used anywhere, wireless charging isn'tconvenient yet. Any photographer "worth their salt" would use a DSLR. Otherwise the iPhone and all recent smartphone cameras are great for normal use. About the only thing I agree with is that battery life could be a lot better.

The PPI is the same, article is wrong.
Smaller display is a matter of taste. Bigger =/= better and if you want a 4.8" screen you don't buy Apple.

Yes Apple is being conservative and could do more. But they'll sell 5-10 million of these and it's working for them. Meanwhile, this phone won't single handedly save Nokia from junk credit status even if it's a technical miracle, because Windows Phone is holding it back. (WP8 does not actually exist yet, the SDK isn't even out).

The Lumia doesn't have a firm release date, iPhone is here next week as well.

Multitasking in a phone for what??? The browser is fine... better than any other on WP7 or Android.

The iTunes thing is bad but if you want the best OS for mobile phones in the marketing you can accept that.

bullshit, iphone 5 is more than likely more powerful than any single smartphone out to date.. apple always takes a huge leap and leaves every other company behind with their iphone.. iphone 4s was way ahead of everything when that came out in terms of specs, then phones caught up/slightly surpassed it, now iphone 5 doubles what was in side of iphone 4s..

Never thought I'd say this but the Lumia 920 crushes the iPhone 5. Bigger display with higher resolution and a higher PPI screen at 60 hz that happens to work with gloves, nails etc... Curved glass, NFC, wireless charging, amazing Pureview camera... I mean seriously, no comparison hardware wise. The Lumia 920 is definitely my next.

Browser in most Android devices is overrated garbage.

Okay, I might as well give my full rant right now because this is ridiculous.

The users that are hating Apple for no reason are far worse than the "iSheeps". They are their own kind of idiotic, brainwashed and jealous sheeps who hate other devices because they are popular.

Many other devices including their overrated Galaxy S and some other Nokia phones have a lame, cluttered and cumbersome interface. They might have better specs... but so what? If the interface is so lame I don't gave a crap.

Of course, I will be banned for this, because users in this site can't stand someone talking ill of their craphones. I don't care, I just want to make clear, you are far more stupid than people buying Apple products. They actually love and enjoy their amazing product. There is a reason it sells, isn't there?

Rumors have the Lumia 920 releasing last week of October/first week of November. Hardly a much longer wait for a clearly superior phone imo.

Yes, because everyone wants to end up with a 32 inch screen phone that they carry in their back back. Apple is soooo behind. 

Seriously, in the 90s, "cell" phones were the same size as normal phones. They got smaller and smaller over time. Gaining portability. You can put one in your Jeans pockets without any fear of bending it. Now, the manufacturers go backward and make them bigger and bigger. The bigger ones can't even fit in the pocket of your jeans, unless you don't plan on sitting down (depending on your size)...

And really, the dpi part is laughable at best.  At this size, you can't even notice a difference over 300dpi.
