Sounds legit, would be a huge move to pull that off this holiday. PS3 sales have been pretty low maybe there phasing out the older models.

Well, its almost a really safe bet without any special insider information.

We've known there is a couple new skus via patent office releases. We even know what they look like.

However, they didn't get revealed with the last conferences for some reason.... probably too much stock of current PS3s.

We also don't know for sure if these will come with price cuts. Considering Sony always accompanies a new sku with a new set of pricing, its a good guess to believe there will be one, especially considering the WiiU and that we'll know all about its launch details a couple weeks before TGS.

I say he'll likely be right but he may just be guessing vs having insider info.

I wouldn't be surprised if this did happen just about a month ago the "supposed" PS3 slim was leaked, since it wasn't shown a Gamescom, it will most likely be shown at TGS if Sony wants to get it in before the holiday season

To me it isn't a rumor.

Unless Sony aborted the plan, they have to show it somewhere! That thing is real, all those leaks guarantee that.
Of course I was certain about a gamescom reveal, but maybe they thought it would steal Vita's thunder. TGS is just the most logical thing we have left for now.

because i live in greece and i have been in media markt of my city i can tell that it has all the consoles and games , it has a lot of different bundles that mediamarkt exclusivily sells and it is the best place nationwide to buy games because it has them ALL

Doesn't matter what the guys nationality is, if he has an important place at mediamarkt he wouldve seen whats releasing at the end of the month. New bundle with fifa. You know PS3 is about to explode here with that kinda bundle.
