Tough call. Koga's guys are level 44- 50 venomoths and nats. Sabrina has a level 50 of each of the abra line. I can't imagine beating a level 50 alakazam without casualties unless you are really leveled up.

I'm going to be going back to Routes 13-15 to train against trainers.

Along the way, I accidentaly OHKO an Oddish on Route 15.

By the timr the Routes are clear of trainers, the team is leveled 30 through 32.

Next time, I'll actually explore a new Area, Routes 16 to 18, in preparation for the gym.

Safari Zone must be rough in this kind of run....

Hopefully the flying will hurt the bug.

I find a wild Rattata at Level 23 and name him Joey, after the infmaous Youngster. Unfortunately, while training against a particularly nasty Dodrio...

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

I replace him with Triple, who is underleveled at 23, but has potential, especially against a Poison gym.

I head north to Route 17, on the Bicycle Path. I train against a few Trainers, then FLy north. I face against the Snorlax on Route 16, but run out of balls trying to catch it. At least Triple evolves in the process...

I know I'm doing a bunch of short updates, but that's all I have time for. Until later!

Wow, Prof is dead... This is why I suggested a Normal/Flying pokemon against Morty in the other nuzlocke run thread...

Oh well, honestly, Prof is pretty useless anyway... and the pokemon you named after him isn't good generation 1. Heeeeyoooo!


But seriously. The Ghastly line is one of my favorites in Pokemon... but it kinda sucks, especially generation 1.

Works great on that fighting gym... but past that he's half Ghost Half Poison. Meaning Sabrina would 1HKO him if he were there... and there are no ghost moves that are good that came be super effective vs the psychics.

Can a ghost really die?
