I would say 2 and 4 are the most important.
Also, the product itself needs to be able to diferentiate from the other ones and the marketing campaign must be able to clearly deliver that message.

I'd say the big system seller would be a new PS Home app with facebook integration, in a form of a really big open box game. Where you could go everywhere and enter buildings to try demos, buy games, play bowlin with the move, but without ever leaving the home app.
When I'm buying a sony console I know the inevitable Uncharted, MGS, GTA, Killzone will be there, so that doesn't turn the console into an instant buy to me.
Oculus rift support for all games.
Price, games, marketing, rest is all extra.
my 5
superior or same quality multi plats dont care much for timed dlc or console price
new controller design
keep free online
more mature exclusives ditch some tired older ones
lets get up to date with features, option full game installs for all games thats why big HDDs come with consoles now, along with custom soundtracks

Play Me
Having blockbuster games available from the beginning is the best way to get the system in the homes of tens of millions and even hundreds of millions of consumers and gamers alike.
If the system starts off with and maintains blockbuster titles throughout it's lifecycle will drive this to the success of being a true PlayStation.
Ok, let's be honest we know the next one won't be a ridiculous price, the last one was a mistake. Why do they keep calling PSN sub par. It games perfectly fine I have not had trouble, the outage was a problem but you don't blame the owner of the car when it gets stolen.
For me, I don't think price would be the issue. On a personal standpoint, I wish that the PS3, and for the PS4, to have more RPG titles for the RPG gamers. There's a ton of different FPS games that are out for all the current generation consoles and it's disappointing to walk into a game store and not find a new RPG title, or a good one at least. Well, my voice is only one.
