Like I said, it seems to work with an expansive welfare system to help out the people with jobs.
Keeps jobs that would be exported overseas in country.
It's another version of the Denmark "Flexicurity" system. Denmark has labor laws far to the Right of the US or anywhere else... but also expansive unemployment.
It leads to a very flexable system where companies want to put jobs because they know they can hire and fire whenever they want, no notice, no standing benefits and being out of work at some point is something the general public expects as a possibility.
Working less great now, since they're at about the US level of unemployment, just below i believe, but that's to be expected since they tend to be financials based.
Of course they pay for it with a HUGE tax rate. And not a very progressive one either, essentially because everyones tax rate is around 50%+. The "progressive" part being between 3% and 15%.

Fucking stupid bitch! You can't tell a country like Australia just to pay ridiculously low wages suddenly, so they can have jobs!! It's impossible to lower wages and living standards like this. She clearly has more money than sense! Why can't she get $2 a day instead, she sure as hell wouldn't like it. Just unbelievable how stupid, people can be. people like that, don't deserve to be rich!

And in this race to the bottom, where you pay everyone $2 a day, exactly who has money to buy the products being exported? Is there some sort of disconnect with her and a thing called "standard of living"? In this, first-world nations pay more, because the overhead of training, and paying for infrastructre require workers make more.
It is ok to state workers are paid too much to be competitive, but to compare it all to African workers making $2 a day? Anyone here care to defend this? To me, there is a big disconnect and lack of understanding of how the big picture works. I would also like to see how she would be the richest woman in the world if she had to live in Africa. Her wealth is derived from where she is, in a global market.

Is that an actual school or were you engagine in humor/satire? I ask because the comment made me one step closer to manifesting Godwin's Law.

Sacrifices end up being made when it comes to wealth. We are told the wealthy and successful need to be revered, so her weight is obviously a sign of sacrificing. Ok, maybe the sacrificing is being concerned about one's weight and being attractive enough to get interest in wealth because you have it.

it is hard to tell if this is a lame attempt at a joke or she is being serious.
the other day she told everyone not to envy the super rich and work harder and then said wages should be lowered and now workers should only be paid $2 per day.
inheriting billions of dollars from the death of her rich father is luck of being born to a rich dad.
