The 68% increase was for software. Hardware increased 36% so 3DS should be 176k, which means that VGChartz pretty much nailed it.

VgChartz 40k will be the closest we get to reality, so if 47.5k was worse than 2001-2004 gamecube according to the source last month, I don't know what this new number is.
