Leaving? Numbers are up jaywood. Looks at the forum index.

Seems active members are down rather than up.  We can just look t a few weeks ago and see that a pretty decent size of the community just up and left.  I dont know the full story behind it but what i do know is it had something to do with the mods.  Mostly ConeG and Carl.  ConeG isnt even fit to be mod and Carl......i havent decided yet.  Starcraft and Viper has done pretty good so far though imo

And you can say that i have a problem with mods which isnt true.  I think Kresnik, Smeags, Kantor, Axumblade, and some others im forgetting atm has done a good job overall throughout the years.

Can you back these statements with reasons why they aren't fit for the job?

IM sure you all are very aware of situations going on so no i wont back up what im saying as i am positive you all know exactly the reason i am saying what im saying.  I could come up with reason after reason that you all would just dismiss, so there isnt a point.

YOu can look at the points alone this months as for people leaving. If it wasnt for XBO NAtion then that would be dead as well.

Oh we have talked on numerous occasions about the decisions COneG makes so im not even going to bring that back up again. Or lets just take in the fact that he has seemed to piss of a good number of the community including Nintendo, SOny, and MSFT fans.

YOu guys are so bullish with your decisions that you all have been pushing people away. Which ive also talked to you all about before. And dont say its a team decisions because i see all the time one mod making a decision and then users have to approach that mod (not a team) alone to get the ban taken off.

I will not make any further reply on this matter. As said before, you all have made your decision(s) well before this or any other comment was made. THat isnt going to change.  This is one of the most pointless threads.  Its basically mods defending themselves and not backing down to anything.

Nevermind Jay said he was done with the convo.

So basically, we should accept your criticism as gospel, you can't be bothered to back anything up and you've already decided that we aren't going to listen. I'm sorry but if that's the kind of feedback you're providing, I really can't help you out.

I'm right now talking to Axum, Kasz, Smeags, Cone, Carl and Trucks about this very thread. What makes you think that any other decision hasn't been made with the consent of multiple mods?

Its exactly what ive been told in the past.  If a mod bans someone you must talk to that mod who banned you since it was his decision.  OTher mods cant do anything unless it is head mod.  or Mr Khan rarely being in mod chat was a pretty good sign of this as well

You cant say that youve never went into a thread and thought, "well that is a against the rules" and then banned that person without talking to the other mods.

I have been banned more times than Jesus has had blowjobs, and I still like it here.

People leave because of the same old discussions. Not mods.

no people leave because they can't keep their swaffling urge in check

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

You are right that it's not all moderations that are discussed in the mod chat. Some things are pretty clear cut and don't need a second opinion but that does not mean mods ALWAYS act alone. That being said, in the end, someone has to swing the banhammer and that person "takes responsibility" for the moderation which is why when it is contested the user has to go to that mod in particular: you know for sure he's aware of the situation and he knows why he decided to take action.

Some yeah, but not all are the case.   Someone recently brought up making a petition against you all, which i have yet decided if i actually wanted to do.   But lets say if i did decide i wanted to, what would be the exact number of users you all would want for you all to actually listen?  I honestly feel you all will never just listen to one person but if there was a petition would you all then listen?  THat person said mayb 50 members, would that do it?

So you have Axum, Kantor and/or the mod who banned someone. Where's the problem? Isn't that enough? Why would you contact anyone else that maybe has or hasn't been involved with the ban? They can't speak for any other mod and even more important they can't change anything about the ban.

There is no need to wait for any permission if the case is clear as glass (calling someone a fanboy, retard, butthurt etc.; calling the products of a console manufacturer shit; spambots; ban requests). Anything else that happens (especially in the case of .. Nation threads) we do nothing without the opinion of other mods and in some cases we do nothing without the opinion of a head mod.
