I agree, I think the wii U will be huge from the get go but will fall off a cliff after 2 years due to lack of support from 3th parties and Nintendo having a lot of trouble making the tablet control as innovative as the waggle control

Even if Wii U release in october it will be impossible.
Vita will sell around 5 and 5.5 millions, the best case scenario i see for Wii U is 3.5 millions if releases on october or 2.5 if it releases in november.

Surely by March 2013 it will already have passed Vita but...c'mon. Vita won't sell that low and Wii U cannot physically sell that high.

Despite the Vita's slow sales rate, it's highly doubtful that Nintendo will be able to manufacture enough Wii U's to outsell the Vita in the OP's given time frame.

A better question is
Will the iphone 5 sell more on its first day than vita & wii U together during 2012?

wii u has gotta be cheap or its going to have a real hard time. people are forgeting what its like when a new system launches.
