Also, I think the the end of the gen has a lot to do with it. When new consoles are out, there will be a lot more pissing and cock measuring.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

As a newcomer, I'll be honest, it is a little strange. Most of the other forums and gaming sites I've frequented online have been dominated by the 360 crowd. There are places where most threads about anything Sony will have two snide comments to every positive comment.
Also, and I mean this without malice, there is usually less for Microsoft fans to talk about exclusively amongst themselves for most of the year. Microsoft goes all-out in fall and early winter but doesn't give a lot of love to the rest of the calendar. And, of course, not having a hand-held adds to the discrepancy in available subject matter.
I see no reason to change anything, though. There are TONS of places where it's tough to be anything but a 360 fan. Being atypical isn't a bad thing.

For the record, I am a big 360 fan, though not necessarily a MS fan. I actually play my 360 far more than I play the Wii. I play Gears of War 3 almost every night online with friends, the game just never gets old. It's just I just tend to defend Nintendo more since they seem to get a lot more unfair criticism. They're just more fun to talk about I guess. I am of course a major Nintendo fan, and like many, I grew up with Nintendo so they hold a special place in my heart, but this gen, 360 has actually gotten most of my playing time this gen, at least after the Wii Sports craze of 2006.
I joined VG along time ago. And VG used to be such a vibrant place.
M$ used to be better represented and life was more equal here.
To be fair VGC themselves haven't helped over the years with dodgy headlines and quite an anti M$ feel at times in articles and reviews.
To be fair a lot less people in general use VGC these days in the forums.
But yes as a M$ fan its pretty pointless coming here most times these day.
Who here is a MS fan honestly? I know kowen and that other Borussia Dortmund dude.

I am a MS fan. I dont game on my xbox much but it is my prefered console when not gaming on my pc.
every site has more nintendo and sony fans simply because they have more fans than microsoft. sony and nintendo have been around for a while.

I know I'm going to regret this, but alright I'll bite, what reviews are ya alluding to?

I do, and I understand the irony of what I said. However, I thought I explained what I was trying to say.
Basically, early in this generation Xbox 360 fans were pretty vociferous about the issues. Then the arguments by PS3, PC, and Wii fans just became the same exact arguments and it got to the point that arguing against people that won't listen the points you're making just doesn't make sense. It's like beating a dead horse. It's not going to change anything, so why even bother.
Facts you can argue and win an argument. Opinions you can't argue and win against someone's opinion. You might change their opinion, but do you really think a person is going to change the mind of SuperL33TPS3FanMensaBoiXXX69? I doubt it. Whether or not he has an educated opinion on the subject just doesn't matter. He's going to argue the same rhetoric over and over. So why bother going down that route? It's not worth the effort when there are enough scenarios where you can join in a conversation and crush some of the fiction people like to spew.
It's about picking your fights more so than not caring, I suppose.
