I would hope that Nintendo would pick him up and work with him as they did with Masahiro Sakurai

First Fumito Ueda and now Kenji Kaido, Team Ico is dead.

RIP Team Ico

:( Hopefully they don't stop making these great games. He is the producer so this isn't very good news.

This game is looking more and more canceled every day...

Ouch. I'm no Nintendo fan, but that is a harsh thing to wish on them. Do you hope they hand the company over to Ken Kutaragi, too?

Goo to Monolith Soft

Another one bites the dust.

This studio is almost guaranteed to go down after this game releases (almost guaranteed it'll happen too, too big to kill). Contrary to the others, this will really saddens me, as I really liked Shadow of the Colossus - fantastic (and simple) game.

I'm not surprised people are leaving if I was Sony I would have cancelled TLG and fired them all for taking so long

what an ironic statement for a studio that did not release a game for 7 years now.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
