That actually is a pretty decent one.  They should bring it back or have they?  I don't even know what their current official slogan is (edit looked it up and it is long live play).  This link has all the old marketing slogans for the Playstation brand.

When you see the choices are to either be assimilated by the Microsoft Borg, or be drafted by the Sony Defense Force (flip out for maximum damage), or join the Nintendo invasion, the last option of Nintendo to me is the most appealing.

There were some non-believers that underestimated the 'Revolution'

 

Nintendo fans suffered a severe oppresion for years! Sony fans were cruel, but Nintendo fans were brave and resisted.

It is not that Nintendo fans overtook VGC, they just broke the chains of the oppresor, and can now freely broswer through the gaming realm. Besides, everybody knows where the thousands of oppresors are now hiding.

I think there was more of a mass-killing of Atari fans rather than an assimilation. 

When's the last time anyone heard of an Atari fan? 

Yes, that seems to be the case. They are all but extinct.
