LOL! That IS the Galaxy S homescreen! You can tell by the strip on the bottom. That's just blatant fabrication by whoever made that image. First, they had to make a black image and upload it to their phone. Then they had to set their background to that picture. Then they had to move shitload of app shortcuts to their homescreen. No sentient consumer would take all those unnecessary steps to make their phone's user interface look that fugly.

Sighs, I hate Apple oh well let the idiotic consumer keep buying there slightly updated garbage. Its up to these other companies to out inovate the competition other wise Apple truly will have a monopoly.

Misleading thread title?

Looks like Samsung has to do go their own way now and not copy Apple like they did around the galaxy s/s2 era (both included in the judgment I believe.) There is a reason Apple didn't go after RIM, MS, etc because they are doing their own designs and trying to innovate themselves.

Innovation is always best, not copying. It looks like Samsung is starting to do that as the galaxy s3 is pretty nice phone from what I've seen.(my brother has one) I hope they continue to do their own designs.

At least we have the decency to not say those same things tto you.

Jesus people... What exactly did Samsung copy? The shape of the device? I mean, seriously? Jesus... Jobs was pissed at google for android. Yet apple keeps going after phone manufacturers that use android instead of google itself. Does that not make it clear that apple is just trying to make the market less competitive?

I agree, innovation is always best. That's exactly what apple is not doing. They're trying to get their products in more people's hands by eliminating consumer choice. Instead of innovating, they're trying to discourage their innovating competitors from being in the market.

Lastly, the reason Apple never went after RIM and MS was because neither of them are formidable opponents in the market. RIM is dying, MS is stagnant. Android is already on the majority of smartphones, and its numbers are still climbing.

Android and WP are all about choice. You can get a high end device for the same price as your iPhone or a cheaper device if you're not a power user. With apple, you have just the choice of internal storage. And if you look at the specs of the iPhone compared to the high-end Android devices, you'll see that you're paying the same amount for a (vastly) inferior product. Why are you so happy to admit that you want apple to have a monopoly? That's not good for anyone, including yourself. What incentive does a monopoly have to innovate? None whatsoever.

Didn't Apple lose this same case in every other country?

Want a cheaper iPhone, get a 4. Get an S2 for same price.

Want an iPhone for free? Get a 3GS. Get a crap android for free.

Wp7 has shit for an app store. Android is closing in on Apple, but Apple still either gets everything first or it gets exclusives.

Iphone specs suck, but everything looks better. Specs are not be all end all. Android are resource hogs, always having shit running behind the scenes. Ever seen Horn? Nice for shit specs.

It also doesn't hurt anything for me. I had 2x Galaxy S and had tons of issues, ranging from charger port malfunction, crap battery life, phone running shit after a month or two, not getting updates on time. The list is vast and I haven't even gotten into HTC issues.

I currently own a Galacy S3 as well as my 4S.

Games on my crap spec iPhone look better and run better than on the S3.

I am sure I know what I am talking about considering I have the two best devices on the market.
