There is a reason Apple didn't go after RIM, MS, etc because they are doing their own designs and trying to innovate themselves. Innovation is always best, not copying. It looks like Samsung is starting to do that as the galaxy s3 is pretty nice phone from what I've seen.(my brother has one) I hope they continue to do their own designs. |
Jesus people... What exactly did Samsung copy? The shape of the device? I mean, seriously? Jesus... Jobs was pissed at google for android. Yet apple keeps going after phone manufacturers that use android instead of google itself. Does that not make it clear that apple is just trying to make the market less competitive?
I agree, innovation is always best. That's exactly what apple is not doing. They're trying to get their products in more people's hands by eliminating consumer choice. Instead of innovating, they're trying to discourage their innovating competitors from being in the market.
Lastly, the reason Apple never went after RIM and MS was because neither of them are formidable opponents in the market. RIM is dying, MS is stagnant. Android is already on the majority of smartphones, and its numbers are still climbing.
