Yeah. Metroid Prime 2 came out like what May 2005 in Japan? It was called MP2: Dark Echoes or something like that.

Metroid Prime isn't as big in Japan as in America since they typically don't like first-person games. But it sold decently enough.

Who knows, since the Wii will have AT LEAST 3x the userbase of the GC maybe 250k is possible... with decent advertising and such.

its gonna move 20-35k in its first week and then fall of the chart after that...the DS pimps the Japan sales charts like its a ho so people will forget Corruption exist and go play the latest Pokemon instead.

I want this game, going to buy the Japanese version, as I only have a Japanese version wii. I am kind of regretted I didn't buy the US version. Now, in Hong Kong, a US version Wii is more expensive than a PS3.......

MP3 could reach M2 numbers by the end of the generation, and M1/MP1 numbers through a miracle. So I'm not going to say that it underperformed based on the first few months when it could actually end up being the third best selling Metroid. If there's something that the this generation taught me, it's that legs matter.
