I'd say you're wrong on the harem part at least, as it seems there's only one romantic relationship and they're married in the opening bits of the game....

Have you played any RPGs where you played teen male? Generally, they're dressed to look pretty and such, so I don't how one is worse than the other and certainly don't understand how playing this would make you feel like a pedo.

Yes, but even then I feel weird about it. Though I enjoy JRPGs, I prefer the ones where the main characters are adults, or where the main characters aren't overly sexualised. Plus I'm worried that in the English voice over of this game they are going to give this girl a cutsy high pitched voice, which is always nails on a chalkboard for me.

I generally prefer JRPGs with a more adult cast as well, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying the Atelier series or most of NIS's offerings. I can understand the feeling to a certain extent, but I don't get how it's applied so much. I'm a married 20-something and I don't see most of it as sexualized. *shrug*
