I have to say I've never met a circumsised person (that I know of) in my life, simply because in Europe no one but the tiny Jewish minority does it, but I hear it's pretty popular in the US. What percentage of men are circumsised over there?

The majority. I was stunned when I found out.

fun fact incidence of health related problems due  to circumcision is also of that order , so health wise there is no real winner  , i saw a tv show where the fathers reason for his sons circumcision was so he wasn't called a milk bottle , apparently helmet head was okay .

Maybe it got done to you before you had a say on the matter, but i wouldnt trade this menial "healthy" you try to claim ( wich can be taken care of with regular higiene habits) for some incredible orgasms and pleasure. Sucks that you got handed the short side of the stick on this matter, but thats life. At least it didnt get cut off completely.

Why is it that people assume Circumcision has no medical benefits?

The answer is simple! The medical benefits that ARE there are so insignificant they can be neglected and they can be easily counteracted by not being dirty and stupid. Simple! Seriously, use a condom, clean your junk, and don't have unprotected sex with STD-ridden tramps and you should be fine. That, and the very minute benefits circumcision has are nothing compared to the very big losses you suffer at the hands of your exposed and desensitized penis head. You know WHY there's a slightly smaller chance of infection when you're circumcised? because your glans is hardened and lacks moistness, so it's kind of shielded.

Where were you people when I was getting slammed by people assaulting me for being ignorant when I asserted that circumcision has no clearly defined benefits and shouldn't be performed on infants?

Ya I think that they cut off the extra skin because it has no benefit lol. It's just extra skin has a chance to get an infection than if you dont have it at all. Otherwise I guess its ok.

I just thought, you may as well argue that cutting a woman's vagina's lips is beneficial because it would be easier to clean the area with the lack of folds and whatnot. That doesn't mean it should be done...

Except, you know, it's there for evolutionary purposes.  protecting the penis from exposure, desensitization, and infection.

Did you know that playboy girls and other sex models get this done in order to look younger and not have unwanted saggy lips?

So there's one benefit. It makes you look younger!
