It's all subjective of course, but I think it is morally sound. If the company refuses to provide you with a legal method of acquiring their product and rewarding the. For it, then obtaining it by other means, as long as you are not taking it from anyone else, is fine.
Piracy is sometimes regarded as theft because you are depriving the, of the revenue from your purchase. But here, it's a choice of you not watching and watching. They get no money in either case.
I will take this opportunity to remind everyone that linking to pirated content for any reason is against the forum rules and will result in moderation.
It's good you don't want to be like your friends and download illegally. But hearing your story, i'm not surprised that piracy is so common not just in Ecuador but across South America too. They should let you buy what you want, but as they won't, you don't have much of a choice.

Nike says it's okay! In all seriousness, I'll go with the general agreement that if you can't legally purchase it and if you plan to pay for it if it does become available someday you shouldn't feel bad for getting it in alternative ways.
For example, I've been waiting for ages for the new No Doubt record. I plan on purchasing the album as soon as I can pre-order it, but when the inevitable leak comes around a week or two before the release of the album, you can be sure I'm going to download every single song.

View it in the same light as the war on drugs. If you want a drug but it is illegal then you will probably go about alternative means to get it. So if you want a game but they don't provide it then go to the black market. Until they are willing to provide consumers what they want legally then you must go the illegal route.
I thought this thread was going to be about theft or something...but yeah the way you described it go ahead and download it dude. Their loss for ripping off Ecuadorians.

The difference is that, unlike drugs, the product he's looking to purchase is not illegal in itself, only unavailable to him to legally purchase.

So it would be like if he had a drug prescription but over exceeded his daily / monthly limit so in order to suffice his habit he must turn to the black market. Nah... That doesn't work.... How about if he was from a country that it was formerly decriminalized but then he moved to a country where it is illegal... FUCK... My drug analogies aren't working. Okay, we will just go with what you provided and state that his situation is fucked up.
Well, what can you do? Download the stuff you want and if there's a way to give the devs some money through donations or whatever then you can always do that.
